the halt of Systick

Hi all,

For the systick in ARMV7-A/ARMV8-A, is it be necessary to halt it by using CTI during debug? Can I just stop it by config it's configuration register?

Is there other way to suspend the systick by the deugger excepting using CIT?

I have only the DAP-LITE ip, but I don't have the CIT ip.
