Morello Linux remote ssh not working

I am trying to enable somebody to remote SSH into my box. I was able to edit the SSH configuration files and restart the service. However, I could not connect to port 3999 nor could I manipulate the firewall rules. Can somebody post simple instructions on how to open port 3999 on my Morello box? There does not seem to be a driver for IP tables and UFW is not installed. What do I need to install, how can I make this work?

Also, the forum was down for posting yesterday.

  • No firewall is configured by default so all ports should be opened, you could confirm that by checking that iptables -L reports no rule. Assuming you are using a Morello board (not FVP), maybe something else on your network prevents connecting to port 3999?
